Abstract
As a result of recent advancements in neonatal intensive care conditions, the medical staff continue to encounter with intestinal failure and related problems with an increasing rate. Autologous intestinal reconstruction should be considered before intestinal transplantation because of its unfavorable results. In this rewiev, the principle features of intestinal failure, adaptation and surgical alternatives that used in rehabilitation were discussed in a summary.
