Abstract
Urethral prolapse is a rare condition characterized by circular protrusion of the distal urethral mucosa through the external meatus. It is more common among prepubertal black girls and postmenopausal white women. Initial presenting symptoms are vaginal bleeding and vulvar mass. Because of its rarity, disease may be confused with sexual abuse, urethrocele, urethral caruncle and rhabdomyosarcoma. In this article we presented the first case of pediatric urethral prolapse in Turkey which has not been reported before.
