Abstract

Fibroepithelial polyps of the urinary tract are rare congenital lesions usually diagnosed in children because of diverse urinary symptoms. Herein, we reportec a case of a huge fibroepithelial polyp at bladder neck in a boy who presented with urinary obstructive symptoms and suggestive a malignant neoplasm of the lower urinary tract. Although, these polyps are considered to be benign lesions, radiologic and endoscopic findings may suggest a malignant tumor and not sufficent to render a precise diagnosis, which can only be made by histopathologic evaluation.
