Abstract
This article contains the author’s approach and literature update on laparoscopic procedures specific to pylorus and duodenum in children such as pyloromyotomy, pyloroplasty, duodenoduodenostomy and Ladd procedure. Before planning these operations, it should not be forgotten that the most of the patients are in infant age and the surgeon should have advanced experience on laparoscopic reconstructive procedures. Considering the serious outcomes of potential complications that may occur because of the special anatomy of the region, and sometimes its challenging structure that may not be easily comprehensible laparoscopy should take its place not as an aim but as a tool in surgical planning.
