Abstract

In the last decade, minimal invasive interventions have been increasingly and extensively preferred for surgical adrenal gland pathologies in children as in adults in lieu of extensive abdominal, flank or thoracoabdominal incisions. Although nature and borders of the mass are the limitations, laparoscopic adrenalectomy may achieve equivalent successful rates to open surgery with its advantages of wide angle of vision, positive cosmetic results, and faster healing process with less morbidity.
