Abstract

Congenital anterior urethral diverticulum is an uncommon abnormality in children usually presenting as a fluctuant ventral penile swelling. It causes lower urinary tract obstruction, and thus recurrent urinary tract infections. An eighteen-month-old boy was brought with the complaints of a swelling in the penis and dripping like voiding which first was noticed in the neonatal period. The case was diagnosed with congenital anterior urethral diverticulum is presented in order to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
