Abstract

If laparoscopic approach is preferred in urinary system pathologies then the anomalies of the related organs and structures should be known, and be prepared. In this manuscript, the laparoscopic approach was evaluated in pathologies associated with numeric, rotation, location and fusion anomalies of the kidneys, and also in rare ureteral and bladder anomalies found in children. The importance of surgical anatomy, some technical details and some challenging pitfalls of laparoscopic surgery in such rare anomalies were also tried to be emphasized.
