Vezikoüreteral reflü, ülkemizde çocuk yaş grubunda gözlenen anomaliler arasında ilk sırada yer almaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra, ileriki yaşlarda uygulanan böbrek nakli ve dializ girişimlerinin de en önemli ve önde gelen nedenidir. Bu makalede vezikoreflü hastalığının spektrumu, yarattığı sorun ve komplikasyonlar ve tedavi ilkeleri konusunda genel bir bilgi verilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Vesicoureteric reflux is the most common urological anomaly in the pediatric population of our contry. Besides, it is the primary cause of kidney tranplantation and dialysis procedures in Turkey. In this paper, the spectrum of vesicoureteric reflux, its complications and the principles of treatment modalities are given briefly.
